Obituary of "Skinny" Johnny Luttmer

Johnny Luttmer completed the final lap of his last race, 01/18/18. Born 12/9/54 to Fred and Catharina Luttmer. His passion for life was spending time with his family, and spending several decades wheeling the #18 Modified around the short tracks of the western U.S. He was a fierce competitor on the track, and off the track a kind compassionate caring man. The biggest love of his life was his grandchildren, he loved being involved in all of their activities and supporting them. He is preceded in death by his father Fred, and his best friend and Little Brother Bill. He is survived by his Mother Catharina, his wife Angie, his children Austin (Lindy), Amy (Tyler) and Ashley (Anselmo), his 6.75 grandchildren AJ, Jordan, Easton, Rylie, Emilio, Noam and Baby Jonnie, his brother Fred (Henny),  his sisters Cathy and Annie (Steve) and a huge extended family. Johnny had a huge smile that was contagious and was quite the jokester in all of his stories of the crazy things he has done in his life.  Johnny demonstrated hard work and being an amazing parent that he passed on to all of his children. Us children would like to extend our appreciation to our Mother Angie who cared and loved for him constantly around the clock for the last four months. A celebration of his life will be held at Rocky Mountain Raceways 6555 West 2100 South West Valley City, UT 84128, Jan. 27th from 6-9pm.
