“Daddy Bart”

Our beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and grandpa returned home on November 8, 2021 after a month-long battle with Covid. Bart was born to John and Jeannie Anderson on December 31, 1971.

As a young man, Bart enjoyed playing with Legos, skateboarding, throwing pool parties with his older brother, and bowling – where he accomplished several perfect games.

On October 3, 1992, Bart married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Leeann Garrett. Together they raised an incredible family with five children: Chaz, Tanner, Ashlee, Brooklyn, and Logan. His family was his ultimate passion, but his love for fishing, camping, and hunting were important, too. Bart loved watching his kids play sports, and was always their number one cheerleader. As a grandpa, Bart was the ultimate teddy bear. He looked forward to watching his grandbabies grow and loved to spend his free time with them.

Bart was the life of the party and always made everyone feel welcome. He made lasting impressions on everyone that he crossed paths with. Losing him will leave a void in everyone’s life that loved him.

Bart is survived by his wife Leeann, his children Chaz, Tanner (Kaylee), Ashlee, Brooklyn (Jaxon), and Logan, granddaughter Paizlee and grandson Camden, brother Bret (Shuree) and countless friends and family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents John and Jeannie Anderson, grandparents Poppy and Lila Anderson, in laws Ted and Barbara Garrett, and his brother in law Brent D Scovill.

We would like to thank the RICU medical team at IMC.

We will hold a celebration of life on November 20, 2021 from 11am-2pm, at the 19th Ward Cultural Hall. Located at 2030 West Chateau Ave, Taylorsville UT. Please dress casually, as Bart loved his shorts.
