Suzann Jennifer "Suzi" Elias Obituary

Suzann Jennifer “Suzi” Elias

December 17, 1976 – February 18, 2025

Suzann Jennifer Elias, affectionately known as Suzi, passed away peacefully in her home on February 18, 2025. Born on December 17, 1976, in Sandy, Utah to George B. Elias Jr. and Patricia M. Elias, Suzi was a pillar of both spunk and compassion who devoted her life to caring for others.

Throughout her life, Suzi selflessly cared for her father, aunt, and many others during their most challenging times. She was not only an amazing caregiver but also a true tease. Her witty comebacks and playful jabs were often accompanied by a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

The kids woven into Suzi’s life were her true pride and joy. She helped to raise and care for Tyler, Alexis, Reese, Ben, Kahlil, Greysen, George, Lyla, and Embry. She was a mama-bear and fierce advocate for these kids. They knew her love and devotion was unwavering and that she treasured them unconditionally.

Suzi loved all things Star Wars, Avengers, and Harry Potter. During the holidays everyone could count on Suzi to have Harry Potter playing on TV all day. She also loved animals, including her three dogs Buddy, Nani, and Sam.

A master cook and baker, Suzi delighted her family and friends with homemade raspberry jam and cookies. Her sugar cookies were a favorite of all. The cherished moments of both making and enjoying these foods with Suzi will be warmly remembered by all those around her.

Suzi was preceded in death by her beloved father, George Elias. She is survived by her devoted mother, Patricia Elias; her siblings Thomas (Tangie), Jeannette (Jesse), David (Amy), Amy (Austin), and Danny (Natasha); as well as a host of nieces and nephews who love her deeply.

Her legacy of devotion, humor, and selfless service continues to inspire all those whose life she touched. In celebrating Suzi’s life, we remember a person who not only filled our lives with flavor and fun but also nurtured our hearts with her endless generosity and love.

A celebration of Suzi’s life will be held on Friday, February 28th. The viewing will be held at 11 am with funeral services to directly follow at 12 pm. Both will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1050 East Galena Dr. in Sandy.

The service will also be available to live-stream at: Suzi Elias Funeral Services - https://zoom.us/j/96996830427
