Obituary
Obituary of David Lawrence
Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
David was born November 27, 1962, in Torrance, California to the parents of Patrica Barbosa and Claude Lawrence.
David was born and raised in Redondo beach, California.
Aside from a rough childhood his life was soon to change for the better. In his early 20's is when he had met his best friend, love of his life, and amazing wife Michelle Lawrence. Soon after had 3 beautiful children: 2 boys and 1 girl. Oldest David Mungarro, middle Jessica Lawrence, and youngest Justin Lawrence. David had built a strong family whom he cherished and did whatever he had to for them even if it put strain and stress on him. There was nothing in this world he
wouldn't have done for his family. He didn't care about anything in this world as long as he had them by his side.
Later in life his family would soon to be growing, he leaves behind: 4 living grand boys (Anthony, Malachi, Mathias, Maurice), and 1 of which he is preceded in death by (LP).
Granddaughter-n-law Katelynn, brother-n-law Patrick, two daughter-n-laws Angelique and Melinda, son-n-law James, cousin char, and dog Fausol. He has many other people who came into his life that he had made family most call him dad or grandpa. David was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. His most favorite saying in life: "if you treat the land good, the land will treat you good", David's favorites food: rice pudding, color: red, numbers: 11, 27, and 07. He loved camping, fishing, boating, and RC rock crawling, beach, charter sea fishing. He loved being out in nature there wasn't a tree or a bush that went by we wouldn't hear about. He was a damn good back in the day mechanic which he then had passed his knowledge onto his 2 boys and daughter. His kids were well taught with his life skills. He Had an impact on everyone's lives that had crossed his path, as well as left many memories, stories, and nicknames that will last a lifetime. In his later stages of life, he had begun suffering with his physical and mental health. He was a fighter and fought these battles for many many years until his body couldn't. We lost such an amazing
man April 27th, 2025. David will be forever missed physically but spiritually he will remain in our hearts forever. We are fortunate to have met such a beautiful soul in this life. Til' we meet again.
