Everest Adam Peck Obituary

Everest Adam Peck was born on January 17, 2000 to Robert Gregory Peck (Greg) and Debra Joy Murphy (Debbie). He returned home to his Heavenly parents June 13, 2025. Everest was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and attended the temple often. The spirit he felt in the Lord’s house brought peace to his life. For the past two years Everest dedicated much of his life to the Lord by completing a service mission through Tiny Tim’s and doing baptisms in the temple baptistery. He didn’t miss a single day.

One of Everest’s greatest joys was spending time with his family. He preferred small gatherings or one on one time with the people he loved so he could focus on them. Everest enjoyed watching movies and eating snacks with his father Greg. He would go to the temple with his mother Debbie. She said they would talk often and had become such good friends. Everest loved spending time with his siblings. He enjoyed playing video games, trying new spicy snacks, and watching movies with them. He also liked talking, sharing YouTube videos, and even inspired a character in his brother Russell’s novel. Everest had a special connection with each of his siblings and their spouses. He loved them all deeply. At family gatherings, Everest was often found playing with his nieces and nephews. He would give them hugs, jump on the tramp, and wrestle with them. They all adore their Uncle Everest. When Everest decided to do something he would fully commit. Whether it was working out, meditation, or his service to God Everest put forth 110% effort. Everest had a top ten list of his favorite video games and the reason why he loved each of those games. Some of his favorite games included Persona 5, Stardew Valley, and Heroes.

Everest had a unique way of speaking that everyone loved. He said things like, “Tis an honor, good madam. Father has been informed.” ; “We are positively giddy with anticipation!” ; and “You flatter us with such flowery words!” If Everest were to give any of us advice it would be, “Hesitate to become someone you’re not, regardless of who or what. Remain true to yourself first and foremost.”

Everest is survived by his parents Greg and Debbie; his siblings Janelle (Robert); Robbie (Brittany); Amy (Bryce); Cynthia (Steve); Russell (Ally); Stacie (Spencer); Joseph (Elizabeth); Joshua; and Felicity (Jon); as well as 17.5 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Sherman and Wanda Peck, Mattie Archer, and Edgar Murphy.

Everest will be greatly missed, there was nobody quite like him. Until we meet again, pleasant subconscious fantasies baby brother.
