Heather Sara Jensen, cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on November 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 31, 1995, in Sandy, Utah, Heather came into this world with a spark that never dimmed. She was vibrant, hilarious, and unafraid to be fully herself.
Heather had a rare gift for humor and connection. She was bubbly, quick-witted, and had the kind of smart, playful personality that could give anyone a run for their money—always in a way that left people laughing and feeling more alive. She could walk into any room and instantly lift the mood. She related to people effortlessly, making each person feel understood, valued, and cared for. Her personality was magnetic—loved and admired by so many.
She was a source of joy, support, and comfort—always ready with a joke or a listening ear. To her mother, she was a best friend—a constant companion, a confidant, and a shining light.
More than anything, Heather’s fiercest love was reserved for her three beautiful children: Taeden Mitton, Chevelle Shaffer, and Navey Buckley. She protected them with all her heart and wanted nothing more than for them to grow up knowing they were loved. Her devotion to them was powerful, unconditional, and unwavering.
Heather is survived by her mother, Sara Jensen, Father Tyler Jensen, and grandmother MaryAnn Potter. Siblings:
Alysha Potter, Devin Jr. Jensen, Kylee Jensen, Chase Jensen, Dominic Jensen, Chancie Jensen, Bella Jensen, and Tyson Jensen.
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, and an extended family who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert “Bob” Potter and Ernest “Ernie” Jensen, as well as Jonathan Potter and Victoria Potter Brown.
Her passing leaves a tremendous void, but her laughter and unforgettable spirit will continue to live on in the memories of those who loved her. Heather was admired and remains irreplaceable to everyone blessed enough to have known her.
