Our loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew passed from this world on June 9th. Bryce was the first-born son of Lori Griffin and Brent Griffin; he was the older brother to Ryan Nash Griffin and the best son and brother you could ever ask for.

Although he never married or had children of his own, he loved being uncle to Nash’s son Xander Griffin. He always wanted to teach Xander to play the latest computer game and take him to the newest movie. Recently he had become a new uncle to Nash’s stepchildren, Everleigh and Bhodi and he loved playing with them and letting them jump on him and listening to their little chatter.

Bryce worked at ARUP Laboratories at the University of Utah Hospital for 19 years, he had recently left to spread his wings and try something new. While he was there, he made many, many friends who he held dear and was still close with at the time of his passing.

Bryce loved soccer! He played for several years in his youth and was a huge Real Salt Lake fan. He was also an avid fan and player of League of Legends and when he wasn’t watching movies he was playing online and watching matches. His favorite team was Cloud 9. Bryce was also a pretty good bowler; he would never miss a chance to meet his brother and cousins at the Pins and Ales to bowl and chat and just be with the people he loved.

Bryce’s biggest love was cooking and eating great food. He was an excellent cook and found immense joy in a well-cooked steak or a batch of homemade soup. He was looking forward to moving to Hurricane UT where he and his dad could cook together.

Bryce would have turned 39 years old at the end of July, so we have decided to celebrate his life and his birthday then. Exact date and time will be decided later but we will post an update and notify everyone then.
