Obituary of Mitchell Lynn Royter

Mitchell Lynn Royter passed away Friday, August 25,2023. Mitchell was born January 14, 1944 in SLC,UT to Roy and Bessie Bybee Royter. Mitchell served his country in the Vietnam War from 1966 - 1968. He rose to the rank of Sgt., and was awarded several medals, including a Bronze Star with Valor before his Honorable discharged in 1968. Before the War, he married Karen. They had two children, Kelly Marie and Troy Lynn. They later divorced. Mitchell then met and married Diane. They had two children, Niki (Kleal) and Jason. Diane had three kids, Keli, Shannon and Stephani, whom he raised as his own. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bessie Royter, brother Scott, Son Jason, daughter Shannon and granddaughter Jasmine. Mitchell is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and grandpups, Max, Nova, Zuka, Emma, Bandit, Rebel, Daisy and Bronco. He is also survived by his sweetheart, Darlene. We wish to thank all of the staff at Superior Home Healthcare who helped us take care of dad in his final days. They treated him with such respect, dignity and care. Most of all, They taught us how to keep him comfortable, and pain-free in his final days, Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 7th at 10:00am at Camp Williams 17111 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, UT. 84065
