Obituary of Robert Gordon Pahl

Robert Gordon Pahl , age 54, died peacefully at home on April 4th, 2017. Bob was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 13, 1963, to Frank Herbert Pahl and Edith Backman Pahl. The youngest of 5 children, Bob attended West High School and graduated in 1981. While attending West High he met and then later married his high school sweetheart, Melanie Hogan, and the couple had 4 children. Bob was very entrepreneurial and was self-employed for much of his life after leaving the family business. Bob loved music and he played the guitar, bass and piano and recently joined a local rock band. Bob is survived by his wife Becky Jones Pahl, his mother Edith and stepfather Richard J. Berrett, his brothers; Mickey (Sheri) Pahl, Alex Pahl and Thomas (Valeria) Pahl, Stepsisters and Brother; Kris (Layne) Spevak, Rick Berrett, Shelly (Aldie) Johnson, Barbara Berrett and Becky (Todd) Andrews, his children: Robert A. Pahl, Emily (Scott) Deadmond, Natalie & Trace Pahl, his grandsons, Merrel and Theodore, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Frank H. Pahl and sister Julie Martinez. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at his Rose Park home, on Saturday April 8th from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Robert Gordon Pahl Memorial fund at any Mountain America Credit Union.
