Our father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Michael W.K. Brown left us and this world suddenly on September 30, 2017. He was born January 22,1948 to Wayne Fredrick and Miriam (Geigle) Brown in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He leaves behind three children: Michael D.A. Brown (Karlie), Chelsea H. Devey (Cameron), and Sterling M.V. Brown, four Brothers, his Mother, three grandchildren: Hailey, Khloie and Kamdyn, a Granddaughter on the way, many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and countless friends.
A pilot, musician, humanitarian, and world traveler, he led an adventurous life. He loved to travel, loved his cars and motorcycles, but family always came first. Many was the time he took nieces, nephews and friends flying. He was the treasurer for The Hercules Flyers for many years. He managed the Pilot/Gift Shop at Millionaire Air. Had many loves but got immense satisfaction from an organization called RESULTS and carried the Olympic Torch here in Utah. He was a human rights advocate in every way. He also enjoyed playing horn in The letter Carriers Band. He worked as a computer programmer/analyst for numerous years at First Security Bank and Questar. He was a running Ute with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, who loved the Utah Jazz, the Blues Brothers, Miles Davis, Chet Baker and anyone who could play an axe. He sat in, many times, with bands, both here and in South America. His passing has left his family bereaved and shocked. He and his ex-wife, Rebecca (Crew) Brown remained friends and he will forever and always be a part of the Crew family.
