Mom,
As I think back on your last week here on earth, I realize that you were preparing to return home. You were reminiscing and exploring memories of your family as you remembered them here on earth, and saying goodbye to those of us you were going to leave behind. I pray that heaven is everything we believe it to be and that you are with all of those who went before you. Your body and mind are whole again. It was a rough road for you here on earth, but you were strong, courageous, and kind to those you came in contact with. Many people love you, mom. I honestly can't believe this has happened. You were so bright, happy, and full of life when I picked you up that day. I felt like it was a renewed beginning for you, and I suppose in a sense, it was.
I will miss your laugh, your caring nature, the smell of your perfume, and your "mommy hugs".
You asked dad to sing to you last week... I promise he will.
