Obituary of Kurtis Paul Humphrey

1985 ~ 2018
Magna, UT-Kurtis Paul Humphrey, 33, after serving his earthly mission, returned to his Heavenly Father May 7, 2018 surrounded by family. He was welcomed home by many loved ones.
He died due to respiratory acidosis.
Kurtis loved people. He was his dad's buddy. They worked on cars together with his grandpa & uncle Bill. Kurtis was a member of the LDS church. He was involved in scouts. He had participated in many sports with the National Ability Center. He enjoyed skiing, wheelchair basketball, shooting, camping, fishing, swimming, and being thrown off the high dive. He mostly loved riding his bike that United Cerebral Palsy provided. He also traveled across the country with his Uncle Tony on his semi-truck. He rode in a race car at RMR with a professional race car driver, and driven a bobcat. He also loved Lagoon and anything that was thrill seeking. He had his own volunteering company.
Kurtis is survived by his parents Duane Paul Humphrey and Paula Marie (Lund) Humphrey. Sister Melissa Marie Humphrey, brother Jeremy C Lund, grandparents, aunt & uncles, cousins and his dog.
He graduated 2004 from Cyprus High School and worked as a cashier from 2002-2004. Services will be held at the Pleasant Green 3rd Ward, 8739 W. 3000 S.on May 12th at 2pm. In lieu of plants & flowers, please donate to the National Abilities Center at www.discovernac.org.
