April 4, 1954 ~ Sept. 27, 2016 Beloved son of Edwin B. and Marco Clark Houseal. Born in Ogden, Utah. Rod was a member of the LDS Church. Rod enjoyed work and activities such as Special Olympics, bowling, dancing and the Boy Scouts. Rodney had an outgoing personality. Even though he endured many years of physical pain and illness, he looked forward to each day with optimism. His family appreciates all individuals and staff of the Programs: Visual Services for the Disabled (VSPD), Project Lift, Tri-Connections, Key and August Sun Residential Services, Spring Creek and Paramount Health and Rehab Centers. Also Dr. Kelton Lundsberg, Intermountain Health Care and Landmark Hospitals and finally Wasatch Dialysis for his care through the years. Rodney was preceded in death by his mother (Marco) and brother (Eddie) and will always be remembered by his family and all who knew him. Survived by father (Edwin), brothers Dennis, Cory (Ellen), Bruce and nephew Ian. Rodney was cremated. Family will have interment and private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity.
