Obituary of Barbara Mower Evans

Our Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma passed way October 30, 2018.
Born June 11, 1925 to Amy Dahlquist and Amasa Nelson Mower Jr.in her Grandma Addie’s home in Fairview, Utah. Married Alexander Ross Evans, later divorced. She raised their 3 children as a single parent. Worked 17 yrs for BLM, 4yrs for the Dept. of State Embassies in Pakistan and Sweden, and 10 yrs at the U of U. Mom enjoyed diverse reading, gardening, traveling, knitting and spending time with family. Mom is survived by her children Mike (Anita) Evans, Dave (Jeanne) Evans, Janet (Joe)Buonocore, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert L. Mower, Max A. Mower and numerous relatives.
A graveside service will be Nov. 7 at 11 am in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Our thanks to the staff at Legacy House Taylorsville and Kim, Judith and Val at Aspire Hospice for their wonderful care.
We celebrate her life, mourn her passing and are glad her limitations are over.
