Obituary of Joseph Michael Vischansky

Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Joe Vischansky, aged 37 years, died peacefully on Sunday, October 28th, after his life-long struggle with Diabetes. Joe was born in Sayre, PA on October 9, 1981. He fell in love with Utah and ended up settling in Salt Lake City with his wife 6 years ago. Joe was a known for his free-spirited personality and his sarcastic sense of humor. He was a loving husband and son never wanting anyone to worry about him and never complained about his health, even through all his struggles. Joe had a passion for RC cars and ATV’ing, that no hospitalization or surgery would ever stop him from any of his rides. He was known in the OHV community as “Captain of the Polish Navy” for having the tendency of getting his ATV’s stuck in the mud. He also enjoyed traveling worldwide (visited many countries), loved football (Colts was his team since his childhood), and loved camping with his wife and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert, grandparents, and several uncles. He is survived by his loving wife Fatima, his mother Carol, son Dylan, step-dad Wayne, brother Steven, step-sister Linda, his nephews- Ashton, Tyler, Brock, his nieces- Kiara and Angel, and his beloved dogs- Fluffy, Drake, and his baby Dax. He will be missed by many… God speed Joe, enjoy all the ATV’ing on the other side with no more hand controls.

A celebration of his life and viewing will be held this Saturday evening November 3, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at IPS Mortuary 4555 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville UT 84123.
