Obituary of Gordon A Wellington

Gordon A. Wellington, 91, passed away on December 15, 2018. Gordon was born on June 7, 1927 in Crescent, UT to Dora and John R. Wellington. He married Helen Owens, later divorced. He then spent 42 loving years married to Sheryl King Bagley (deceased). Gordon was an exceptional driver; he drove cab and ambulance, as well as was a driver for Tooele Army Depot.  His greatest joy in life was his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sheryl, brothers Bob, Gene, and Keith. He is survived by his sister Doris Wilkinson, sister-in law Afton, his children Bill Wellington, John (Marla) Wellington, Darwin Bagley, Kenna Rigney, Curtis Bagley, Sharilyn (Gary) Madsen, and Carolyn (Kevin) Healy, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Sharilyn and Gary Madsen for the loving care they provided for Dad. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 12pm-3pm at the Madsen residence- 6880 S 3535 W, West Jordan UT 84084.
