Rebecca took care of me while I was a patient following a shoulder surgery. She and I hit it off immediately! Rebecca knew about a vast variety of subjects and was a ton of fun to talk to about anything at all. She was playful and cheerful and had a lot of energy all the time. Rebecca was extremely professional and woke me each morning having already done the several things she knew I'd need or ask for. She was very organized and prepared and quickly became a favorite of mine. I am beyond sad to hear that an amazing woman and soul is gone and am very sad at this tragic loss. I feel very fortunate to have known Rebecca and considered her a friend. My thoughts are with her family now and her friends and the staff at Cascades.

I'm glad you acknowledged that she went by Becky as a child. I know that she preferred Rebecca as an adult, but I spent much more time with her earlier on, so Becky is how I naturally refer to her for sure. It's true about the academic success Becky had in grade school. She was at the top of the class. Hi Becky! Sorry I can't stick with the more mature name. It is slightly odd, and also very heart wrenching to type this up while you are tipping your hat to me in the photo at the top left of my computer screen. (Sorry). Your face does make me smile though. You did a beautiful job with make-up and style. You really did appreciate the arts and theatre. Creativity and intelligence side by side in the same mind. I am sorry for all you have gone through my friend. The good things you contributed to the world will be missed.
