Obituary of Patrick Laforett

Our Beloved Patrick (PJ) Laforett, peacefully returned to his eternal home on February 23, 2020. PJ was born to Patrick and Yvonne Laforett on December 31, 1985. PJ’s love for his two sons Brenus and Amillio was undeniable, he would do anything for their happiness. PJ loved barbequing and family gatherings; where his witty personality always shined and he was often the center of attention, he also had a good sense of humor that would light up any room no matter what the mood was. PJ had a love for music and an even stronger love for making his own music, he loved sports, he had an undying love for the Dallas Cowboys and couldn’t wait for football season to start, often times telling everyone “Five Minute!” till the season starts. PJ is survived by his sons Brenus and Amillio Laforett, parents Patrick & Yvonne Laforett, Sister Nicole Laforett (Edward Lucero), and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Millie Laforett and Arnold Gonzales, his Godfather Michael Gonzales and many Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. There will be a Rosary and a Viewing held on Sunday March 1st from 6-8 p.m. at St Therese Catholic Church, The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday March 2nd at 11 a.m. with a luncheon immediately following at St Therese Catholic Church Located at 624 West Lennox St. Midvale, UT, 84047.
