Obituary of Merle Wayne Easthope Jr.

Merle Wayne Easthope Jr (Monty) passed away at the age of 63 on April 14th 2020. Merle married the love of his life Ellen McCormick Easthope on February 21st 1981 and has been finally reunited with his "Princess" who left this earth on March 21st 2012. He was also preceded in death by his beloved Mother (Barbara June Easthope), and two brothers (Mickey and Michell Dennis Easthope). Merle left behind four daughters Amanda Chavez (Dennis Chavez), Jessica Spring Easthope, Shannon Riddle (Adam Riddle), and Samantha Johnson (Darin Johnson), as well as 4 Granddaughters and 4 Grandsons along with his Father (Wayne Easthope Sr), his brother (Matthew Todd Easthope), his favorite niece Nikki Easthope and several other nieces and nephews. Merle was a proud tradesman and worked as a Security Printer for over 30 years. During the end of his life he was dedicated to watching his beautiful grandchildren grow up, and become as sassy as him. Our Dad was the kindest, wisest man any of us knew in the world, and we'll be lost without him. He taught us kindness, being really good at being smart-asses, and most importantly unconditional love. Everyone and anyone that met him he left his imprint on with his smiling eyes. He was generous and always willing to help. Our hearts will always feel like its missing something until we meet up with him and our Mom one day. Rest in peace and breathe easy now Daddy. In lieu of flowers we are accepting money donations to put towards an urn that both Merle and Ellen can be placed in together as they had both requested in life. .
