Obituary of Ann Calderwood Hall

Ann Calderwood Hall returned to her Heavenly Father on November 17, 2020. Born September 22, 1939 in London, England. She was the only child to David and Margaret Calderwood. Ann grew up in Nottingham, England before moving to America, and living in San Francisco, California. Ann was LDS and involved with the relief society. That's where she met Jay Donald Hall at a relief society dance. Ann and jay married, moved to Los Angeles and over the next few years had four sons John, David, Mike and Richard. While raising four boys Ann worked for the phone company in L.A. County. In the early 1980's the family moved to Utah. First staying at one of Ann's childhood friends Jill in Ogden, then moving to Sugarhouse and after a few years settled in Taylorsville. Ann worked for Zellerbach Paper Company as a front desk receptionist and she loved her job and all the people she worked with for the many years she worked there. After leaving Zellerbach, Ann worked for Traco in Spanish Fork, then ending her working career as the receptionist at Jordan Valley Hospital. Ann loved getting together with her childhood friends from England, Jill, Janet, Marion and traveling back to London to visit her childhood home as often as she could. Ann Loved her four boys very much and did everything she could to support and help them all the time. And her boys are very lucky to have Ann as their mom. Ann was survived by her youngest son Richard. Ann Always had a big heart for family and friends and always being there in times of need and support. Ann loved life and always had a smile that would light up the world. Ann will be loved and missed very much and never forgotten. Ann was a daughter, wife, mother, grandma and friend and for those lucky enough to have Ann in their lives. Ann will always live in our hearts. Love Forever, until we meet again.
