Obituary of Connie Jo Vanover-Shamlian

Please share a memory of Connie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Thursday, December 18 2020, Connie Jo Vanover Shamlian passed away at the age of 56. Connie was born on July 27, 1964 in Kearns, UT to Marion Vanover Jr. and Anita Mae (Hreinson) Vanover. She raised two children, Shantae and Brad, on her own. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Marion, her mother, Anita, and two brothers, Allan and Richard. She is survived by loving husband Richard Shamlian, daughter Shantae Lindeman (Chad) son Brad Vanover, stepchildren Ian Kirkpatrick (Lacey) and Lee Shamlian (Amber), sisters Vanda Kercher (Karl) and Chris Keith, brothers Eugene Vanover and Aaron Vanover (Cherrie), and grandchildren Jake, Georgia, Dakota, Shane, Gage, Anthony, Anfernee, Bettie, Asher, Devin, Enrique, Liam, and EmmaLei. She was a light of love and happiness to all she has ever met; a personality comparable to none. A truly unique individual. She lived a life of happiness and humor. She was the first one to accept and help anyone in need. She opened her heart to all. She was the strongest woman and would accept any challenge and end up on top through any bad times. She was the shoulder to lean on, the ear to listen, and the voice of reason. An understanding woman of faith and trust. She loved unconditionally. Her charisma brought light to any room she was in. A true leader that people would follow and just simply want to be around. Her world and joy was her family, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and numerous cousins. The support she gave to all was priceless. She gave all to everyone and asked for nothing in return. Her memory is kept in the hearts of all who have met her. A mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother that left us too soon. Her faith kept her solid, strong, and unbreakable. She knows heaven is her path. She'll watch over us from above, but never far. The joy of this woman has brought to us all will never fade. Her love has warmed our hearts and we are forever grateful for her life. The light that cleared the dark, the love that healed the heart, the voice that made us calm, the soul that made us strong. Forever a blessing for us, Connie Jo Vanover Shamlian.
