Daniel (Dan) J. Meranda,
Passed away Tuesday, June 29 2021
Dan was born October 20, 1955,
The 3rd of 4 boys.
Dan was raised in the Pleasant Grove/Lindon Utah area and grew up playing sports,and he excelled in academics. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High school. In his youth,he and his brothers helped run a concession stand and activities at a boat harbor/marina on Utah lake. Dan was a member of Ironworkers Local 27 and worked at GenevaSteel.
Dan is survived by his 3 children, 2 daughters Kristen, Kaylene (Colby)and one son, Daniel. 8 grandchildren. 2 brothers, Michael (Patty) and Todd (Lisa)
He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen M. and Dorothy Meranda, and his brother Stephen (Dyke) D Meranda
