February 25, 1952 - October 22, 2021

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, returned home to her Heavenly Father at 8:15PM on the 22nd day of October 2021. Cory was born in Murry, Utah to her parents Devar William Fellows and Helen Juanita Gustafson on February 25th, 1952. She leaves behind her husband, David Sheldon Birrell and her four children - Amanda Beaucannon, Darren Birrell, Jarod Birrell and Courtney Davis. She will also be dearly missed by her son-in-law, Justin Beaucannon, Daughter-in-law, Christina Birrell and four grandsons, Tyler and Trace Beaucannon, Ryker Birrell, Braxton Davis and one additional grandchild on the way, as well as countless friends and family.

David and Cory were engaged on December 3rd, 1971 and married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 30th, 1972. Together, they raised their family of four, had the opportunity to go on some amazing vacations, served diligently in church callings including branch presidencies, a family history mission as well as served as family history consultants and shared all the joys and trials that life presented them side by side for the 50 years, they were together.

Cory will always be remembered by those who knew her for her love of cooking. Nothing gave her more joy than when she could bring those, she cared for together to share in a home cooked meal.

She was the kind of person who always put her wants and needs aside to try and take care of others needs first. Those who were closest to her, knew the health struggles she had been going through for several years, many of which prevented her from being able to participate in activities that she would have enjoyed. But she always put her discomforts aside and enjoyed making sure her family was happy and taken care of. Although she will be deeply missed, we are grateful for the knowledge that she is now in the care of our Heavenly Father and our loving brother Jesus Christ. We all know she is most likely keeping herself busy at this moment making preparations for the time when we will all be able to see her again. Until that time we will miss her and keep her in our hearts.
