Obituary of Carol Kay Galentine

Carol Kay Galentine also known as Butterflii, was only 26 years old when she had her life tragically taken in an automobile accident on her way home from work at 6:19 p.m. on February 23rd 2022 in her hometown of West Valley City Utah. Carol was born August 8th 1995 in West Valley City at the old Pioneer Valley Hospital. Carol was born to Tracy T. Galentine and Cathrine Louise English. She is survived by her parents and her brother Philip Terry Galentine, Grandmother Carolyne June Galentine, and Grandmother Carol Ann English, and her fiancé who was the love of her life Andrea Nichole Olsen. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather's Terry Tyrone Galentine and Philip W. English.
Carol graduated from Granger High School class of 2013 the last graduating class of the old Granger High School building. When Carol was younger she was a member of the Starlight Dance Academy. She enjoyed going to Girls Camp, riding ATVs, boating, and enjoyed the Great Outdoors. Carol was very artistic, she loved arts and crafts, painting, crocheting, and loved making jewelry. She loved her dogs and all animals. Carol was a caregiver to her mother and worked as a caregiver providing care to others and enjoyed doing it. In an effort to help others she chose to be a donor at the end of her life. Carol loved deeply and unconditionally to all those that she came in contact with. She could light up the room with her bright bubbly personality. Carol Kay will be greatly missed.
We will have a Celebration of Life for Carol Kay Saturday March 5th at 11AM in the Cultural Hall at the Hillsdale Park Ward building 3276 S. 2760 W. West Valley City, Utah 84119.
After Carol Kay's Celebration of Life we will gather for a candle light vigil at the scene of the accident 3600 West and Parkway Blvd. at 7PM. Please wear bright colors to honor Carol Kay.
