Obituary of Nicole Elizabeth Flynn Farr

Nicole Elizabeth Flynn Farr passed away on March 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Cancer took her from us much too soon. Nikki was born in Price, Utah on April 5, 1982 to Ernie and Brenda Flynn. She graduated from Highland High School, and served a service mission at the LDS Family History Library. Nikki married her sweetheart, Lee Farr, on November 30, 2013 in the Jordan River Utah Temple. They lived for five years in Mesa, Arizona where Lee is from and then moved to Salt Lake City. She worked for many years taking care of disabled adults, a job she loved and excelled at given her inclusive and compassionate nature. Nikki loved giving presents, fishing with her dad, and knitting hats for the cancer center and homeless shelters. She will be remembered for her unfailing generosity, silly humor, and her love for bunnies. She is survived by her husband Lee Farr of West Jordan, UT; parents Ernie and Brenda Flynn of West Valley City, UT; brother Jason Flynn (Lynda) and their children Rachel, Andrew, Jacob, and Lydia of Vernal, UT; brother Burton Flynn (Becky) and their son Anderson of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; brother Ryan Flynn (Ashley) and their children Kayden and Abbie of Roy, UT; grandfather Jay L. Deuel of Orem, UT; and her bunnies, Pancakes and Maple. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Lucille Flynn and Phyllis Deuel, uncle Jay Deuel, and her beloved rabbit Shadow. Service will be held on Friday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at the Mountain Shadows 4th Ward, 8136 South Old Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah 84088. Viewing from 12:00-12:45 p.m. Interment following the service at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Memories may be shared with the family via this Tribute page.
