Loretta Nell Eisiminger Obituary

With love in our hearts, we bid a farewell to our sweet Mom, Grandma, and Gigi. Loretta Nell Eisiminger (1936) passed away peacefully in her home on June 22nd, 2022. We will miss her bright cheerful smile and the sparkle in her eyes.

Loretta loved her family, and always had a smile and a warm hug when you were around her. She cherished hosting her entire family at her home during the holidays; her house was always filled with laughter and love.

She truly had a passion for adventure, including hiking, rock hounding, and travel. One of the biggest items checked off her ‘bucket list’ was a trip to Ireland.

When not heading out on another amazing experience, you could find Loretta painting. Her considerable talent as a landscape artist was not fully appreciated unless you knew her story.

As a young girl growing up on a farm in small-town Kansas, she took on a lot of responsibility in helping her family. In 1957 she met the love of her life and started her dream of having a family of her own. They made their home in Utah in 1971, traveling from Arkansas with a dog and a cat (and their five kids). She dedicated her life to being the best mom she could be for her kids.

She is preceded in death by John (husband), Kent Parker (Son-In-Law), Marsha Eisiminger (Daughter-in-law) Jeremy Dimmitt (Nephew), and Tommy Booms (Son-In-Law).

She is survived by her children Linda (Bruce), Carrie, Eric (Laura), Lisa, and Tom (Amy). She is also survived by her sister Mary (Chuck), her brother Nolan, and her sister Marsha, as well as countless loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Loretta’s remarkable life will be held at her home on July 10th from 4pm-7pm.

The family would like to give special thanks to Erica Eisiminger for her loving, dedicated care for her grandma over the past seven months; as well as the Aspen Ridge Hospice and IPS Mortuary and Crematory for their professionalism and compassion.
