Obituary of Tony Trujillo

On Thursday, August 25th, 2022, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend Tony Peter Trujillo passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 73. Tony was born on January 21, 1949, in San Fernando, California to Constance and Tony Trujillo. He lived most of his life in southern California where he met his wife of 56 years, Charlene Trujillo. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, cousins, and many other family members. Tony was something special, his incredibly unique and charming personality always had the room laughing with his jokes and witty sense of humor. He had a passion for family genealogy, cooking, and sending food back at restaurants. He worked as a broker in the food marketing business most of his life. He had a love for heat from going to the beach to going out gambling in Las Vegas, Mesquite, and Wendover, NV. Everyone that had ever met Tony would say that he has a big heart, was all about his family and made you feel welcome as if you were part of the family. He always had a way of being the life of the party, he was fun and always looking for a new adventure. He is and always will be greatly missed. His memories will live on in all of us forever. There will be a small viewing service for family and friends, including a luncheon. The service will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, between 12-2 PM, at IPS Mortuary and Crematory in Taylorsville, Utah. (4555 S Redwood Rd Salt Lake City, Utah 84123)
