Verda Ella Cheney (Hardman) died, at home at age 98. She was born on May 04, 1924 to James Daniel Burbank and Lydia Ann Stokes in Montague, California.
She married Arnold Neldon Cheney and they had 4 sons. Tim (& Rebecca) Ronal (& Mercedes), Steven (& Elaine), Lynn (& Christi). She has 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Married in the Logan Temple 07/05/1950.
Verda loved the gospel and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved singing, quilting , painting, flowers and serving others. Neldon and Verda raised their sons on a 40 acre farm in Yuba City, California. Later they lived in Gridley, California where Neldon owned and operated Butte Auto Parts Co.
The viewing will be held on October 22, 2022 at 10-11:00am followed by the funeral at 11:00 at the Kearns Western Hills 2nd ward. 5380 W. 5400 S., Kearns, Utah.
