Anita Trujillo (Maez) Obituary

Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not.


Heaven gained an Angel on December 15th, 2022.


Anita was born to Manuel and Eloisa Trujillo on May 23rd, 1963, in Denver, Colorado. Anita moved to Utah in 1969, where she resided for the remained of her life. She attended South High School, where she developed a life-long passion for drawing and poetry. In her pastime, she loved to bake and enjoyed dancing to all sorts of music. Her most cherished activities were spending time crafting with her children and grandchildren. Anita truly took pride in her children and family, whom she loved dearly.


Anita is survived by her three children, Russell (Shelly) Maez, Manuel (Lindsey) Maez, and Chavela (Kevin) Holmes, and her many grandchildren. Her sisters Yvonne, and Elaine, also many nieces and nephews.


Anita is proceeded in death by her parents Manuel and Eloisa Trujillo. Also, by her brothers Gabriel Trujillo, and Ralph Trujillo, and her sister Rosie Trujillo.
