Obituary of Laurie Gerald Love

Laurie Gerald Love 1963 ~ 2023 Laurie passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023, in Murray Utah surrounded by his family. He married the love of his life Laura (Swanson) Love on August 22, 1993 in Millcreek Canyon. Laurie is preceded in death by his father Gerald Louis Love and his mother Florence Louene Izatt Love Carlson Laurie was a patient, strong, and empathetic man that was always proud of his two boys. He was humble, brave, and never afraid to back down to a challenge. Laurie loved bowling with his friends; loved being with his family and cooking some of the most delicious food; He loved playing video games and teaching his boys to play them as well. He was the barbeque king and loved entertaining friends and family with barbeques in the backyard over some cold ones. Laurie is survived by his older brother Paul (Karen) Love, his beloved wife Laura (Swanson) Love; his two dear sons Stephen and Christopher Love; his three nephews Tyler Hancock, Kurtis, and Kenton (Love); and his two nieces Arcadia and Jessica (Love). A celebration of life in Laurie's honor will be held at Winchester Park on July 9th at 6:00 pm where we will be getting together and celebrating all the joy and love that Laurie brought to our lives. This will be a casual get-together where food and drinks will be served and we can share stories of all the good times with Laurie.
