Ruth Maxine Tripp Platts McIntyre Obituary

Ruth Maxine Tripp Platts McIntyre, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 12, 2023.

The youngest of three children, Maxine was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bertha Nelson Tripp and George Enoch Tripp. She is survived by her daughter Georgia Tripp Platts, her son John Courtney Platts and her grandchildren Tanner Platts, Dilan Platts and Brinley Platts and great-grandchild Curren John Platts.

She says you could call her the dam kid since her father helped build Hoover Dam, Parker Dam, and Shasta Dam.

Maxine loved the LDS church and held many jobs including teaching primary, Sunday school, Relief Society and doing visiting teaching.

The family she leaves behind loves her and misses her terribly. But we know that she is in a better place.
