Obituary of Sandra K Barrett

Sandra “Sandi” K. Barrett, age 74, of West Jordan, Utah, passed from her earthly body to her heavenly home in the early hours on October 26, 2023 after suffering a stroke. Sandi was born on July 19, 1949 in Kearns, Utah. Sandi served in the Marine Corps for 3 years and was stationed in San Diego. While being there, she loved to make and send clothes and even made special quilts for friends and family with newborns. Sandi was a bright and shining star to all who knew her. From her red hair to her bright colored clothes to her crazy done up nails that she always coordinated with each special occasion. She brought light, positivity, and happiness to any room she walked into. Sandi made friends anywhere she went and touched the hearts of many. She will always be loved by those who knew her. Family and friends got to spend the last hours of her life sharing all the wonderful memories they had with her. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother “Gigi”, and friend is survived by her brother Mark and sister Stacey. Sandi has one daughter Angela (Kent), two grandkids Cassie and Colby (Audri), and two great granddaughters Taitum and Kinslee. Sandi will be deeply missed, but will remain in all of our hearts forever.
