Nancy Helen (Marks) Farrell, born on September 16th, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on December 20th, 2023, after a grueling battle with a long-term illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Nancy had a passion for various hobbies and interests. She found joy in the companionship of her dogs and had a deep love for them. She had a keen eye for fashion and home decoration, always striving to create beautiful and inviting spaces. Nancy also enjoyed playing the game Hidden Objects and solving mind-enriching puzzles. Her favorite colors were a rich palette of deep shades, including purples, burgundy, and red.
Known for her kind and gentle nature, Nancy touched the lives of many. People often described her as one of the nicest individuals they had ever met. She believed in the power of kindness and often quoted phrases like "It takes all kinds of people to make a world" and "Kill them with kindness." Nancy had a way of spreading positivity and warmth wherever she went.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond, and Ada Marks, as well as her in-laws, George and Dorris Farrell.
She is survived by her loving family and friends, including her husband J Scott Farrell, her daughter Kelli R Farrell, her son James Scott Farrell (Stephanie), her daughter/granddaughter Maddasen S Farrell, her grandson Carter J Farrell, her granddaughter London R Farrell, her granddaughter Annaliese Wayman, her grandson Corey Wayman, her sister Susan McShane (Lynn), her brother Mick Marks (Nancy), and her brother David Marks (Carol).
Despite battling illness for many years, Nancy remained resilient and maintained a positive outlook on life. She faced her challenges with grace, kindness, and without complaint, inspiring those around her.
Nancy Helen (Marks) Farrell will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving and kind spirit. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity in her honor.
