Jordan James Tanner Obituary

Jordan James Tanner sadly passed away at the age of 29 on January 21, 2024, at his home. He was an avid fisherman, loved wood working, history, astrology, and his dog Mishu. His dream was to own a boat and go fishing at Strawberry Reservoir every single day. He loved to cook, especially his steak, he made the best steak ever, better than anyone.

After graduating Taylorsville High School, Jordan started working in the industrial field where he was happy and worked with many friends. But he was most happy when he had a fishing rod in his hand.

He is survived by his parents Jo Smogur (Jim Mobley) and Steve Tanner, his grandparents Danuta and Henryk Smogur, Karen, and Clyde Tanner, as well as his aunt and uncle Gina and Mike Kidwell, cousins Gabe Jacoway (Hana) Aryabelle Kidwell and many other family members. As well as many friends that cared for him like a brother.

Services will be held at a private memorial on January 29, 2024. A celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
