Hyrum David Stubbs, our Gentle Giant, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 42, surrounded by his loving family.
Hyrum is survived by his parents, Roger and Darlen (Poecker) Stubbs, his siblings Kara Lopez (Chad), Joseph Stubbs (Andrea), and Samuel Stubbs (Diane), nieces Kelsey Barney, and Elizabeth Lopez, nephews Alexander Stubbs and Raymond Stubbs and cousins with whom he was very close and considered them immediately family. His life was his family.
Hyrum was born in Provo, Utah June 19, 1981. He graduated from Murray High School in 1999. He loved his work at Identity Signs and valued the friendships he had with his coworkers.
Hyrum had a big heart and a very caring nature. What we will miss the most are his amazing hugs and and his laugh.
The family would like to thank the staff of Emergency and Neuro ICU at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray for their help and compassionate profession care in Hyrum's last hours.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 6 -9 p.m.
at Nuttall's Sewing Center, 12538 S Doreen Dr, Riverton, UT 84065. In lieu flower, donations may be made in memory of Hyrum to www.theothersideacademy.com or a charity of your choice.
