Ah, Aunt Lois. She has been part of my life for all of my life. But, unfortunately, she’s not been in my life enough and for that I blame myself. But that does not limit my love for her and the memories she helped create. I wish we, the family, were all closer and maybe one day we will be. I think all of us feel that way from time to time.
She made an impression on me when I was very young and that impression has never changed. I’ve always believed that the words that describe her best for me are smart, funny, adventurous, and fierce. And those traits have been gifted to and continued by Rodney, Kelly, and everyone in her orbit. She has helped to make them all better people.
Michelle and I were lucky to have seen and spent time with her earlier this year and it was a time I will always remember. It’s how I will always remember her, smart, funny, adventurous, and fierce.
Our hearts go out to you all.

Oh my friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Sweet Lois was so dear to my heart. The many camping trips playing Scrabble, the many Christmas Eve, and birthday celebrations with Grandma Lois and Kinsey tribe. I will cherish those memories for ever. All of my love, peace and happy memories to her family.

Lois was our neighbour at Swan Lake. She would bring Chewie ( her dog!) down to our place & baby-sit our dogs Snowman & Sasha while we made trips down to Sioux City.
And when we went to Thristy Thursdays she would make her 'cream cocka (not sure of spelling) Always went over very well with everyone! Loved that gal!!!
