Richard Alexander Schow, 75, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away on October 19th, 2024 at his home. Rick was born on September 24, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Darrell and Harriet Schow. He attended Granger High School and graduated in 1968. He served an LDS mission in Sweden and attended the University of Utah. He married Kathleen Rowe in 1972, later divorced. He married Danitza Coca March 10, 2012. They spent many happy years together. He spent a large portion of his career working as a Plumber for Harris Dudley. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and watching sports. Rick is survived by his wife Danitza of West Valley City. Children, Kirsten (Jake) Schaeffer, Heather (Dylan) Mills and Joseph Buffington. Siblings, James (Linda) Schow, Wendy (Bradley) Massine, and Donalynn Garcia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and Brother David (Colleen) Schow. Funeral service will be held at the Granger West 4th Ward building, 3305 S Scottsdale Drive W.V.C., UT 84120, on Friday October 25th. A viewing will begin at 11:00am followed by Funeral Services at Noon.
