Dorothy was my patient at Wentwoth at Draper, but she was also a very good friend, as her Medtech and caregiver, I can never said that I had a hard time taking care of her, she was always very cheerful person, but also very stubborn, she liked to do things on her own in her room, and few times she scared me with a bleeding forehead or a tear skin on her arms, but I always take care of her wounds with patience, because she was an amazing person. I loved to stay on her room and helped her to fix up her room, she always had some story to tell about almost all object she has in her room. She liked to share stories about the times that she went to the marine’s ballrooms in San Diego, and tell me how much fun she had!
I will miss Dorothy, she was my patient but overall she was my good friend.
My condolences to her family!

Dorothy was such a good friend and neighbor. I am the same age as Kimberley, but I became friends with Dorothy when we became neighbors around 1993. Dorothy was at the homebirth of my son Oliver, May 1993. She shared her out-of-body experience that happened at one of her children’s births. She shared her strong testimony of the reality of knowing our Savior and His mission. She has so many reasons to become disenchanted with life yet she was ever faithful and optimistic. She acknowledged the struggles of family relationships but kept her optimism, choosing to love with true vulnerability. Dorothy shared her testimony of the gospel with me and it strengthened me. The way she loved her grandkids influenced me. The way she loved her children made me like them more. In fact, it was through Dorothy that I saw Kimberly as the leader she is. She adores all of her kids, and when we talked her voice was full of love and light for them and their families. Her greatest satisfaction came through the seeing the gospel light burning bright in their lives. She loves that legacy. She touched my life with her friendship. A great reward awaits her.
