I didn't know Karl well myself but my mother, Kay Holley Bowen, was his cousin. When she found out he lived only a short distance from us in Holladay, she had me drive her over to visit. Both Karl and Jean were so welcoming and kind. Mom had many good memories of fun times with her cousins and had lots of complimentary things to say about Karl. She's been gone for 8 years now, but they were an amazing generation. The greatest!
