Obituary of Marian J Miller

Marian J. Miller January 29, 1932 - August 12, 2024 Marian J. Miller, age 92, passed away August 12, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 29, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in Chicago, Cicero. and Berwyn, Illinois. She graduated from J. Sterling Morton High School & Junior College (1949); and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University (1953), Kalamazoo, Michigan. Marian married Lester W. Miller on November 3, 1956; became a mother to daughter Carol and son Richard. She participated and led many school, civic, and church related groups. Marian earned a Master of Arts in Behavioral Science: Gerontology (1982) from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She was a small business owner, providing conservatorship services, and taught at Long Beach City College. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Marian and Lester relocated from Long Beach, CA to Mesquite, NV in 2014. She later moved to Utah in April of 2023. Survivors are daughter Carol (Michael) Webster of Yorba Linda, CA; son Richard (Brenda) Miller of Park City, UT; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, of 65 years, and sister Louise.
